Mission and Goal
STARBASE Sacramento wants to raise the interest and improve the knowledge and skills of at-risk youth in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) by exposing them to a technological environment and positive role models.
The STARBASE Sacramento Program directly supports the third mission of the California National Guard, described in the California National Guard Quality Philosophy, is to “Provide service and support to the local communities in which we work and live.”
Our overall goal is to provide and enhance students and teachers with an exceptional educational, hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math curriculum and experience, while creating holistic personal growth, and goal setting skills for their future.
